COMING NOVELTIES: EMBROIDERY BASE THAT FELTS
In March 2007 we will have a completely new prefelt base.
This material is 100% merino wool and it is designed for embroidering felt.
The embroidery base has 350 grams of wool per sq. metre; width is 220 cms and colour is tile red. You may cut out a piece in a shape you want and embroider that with wool yarns or decorate that by needling wool fibers or do them both.
You then felt your work ready by rolling it inside a bamboomat or a towel. The embroidery base has been industrially needled so that you can easily divide it into thin, even layers!
This material is good for making hats or bags; you cut out the pieces, make decorations, sew the parts together with wool yarn and felt your work ready.
The embroidery base will overturn felting completely, because one base is suitable for so many different uses: wall textiles, jewellery, accessories, interior decorative items etc.
